The shops of the city center (‘Grote Houtstraat’) are within five minutes walking distance. A supermarket is nearby too, and the beaches of Zandvoort and Bloemendaal can be reached by bike in only half an hour.

From the Haarlem train station it’s only twenty minutes by train to Zandvoort, fifteen minutes to Amsterdam central station and twenty minutes to Leiden.
